I suppose I can finally say something about it.
I QUIT SMOKING.
Ten more days will make 90 and then it will be offical. According to all the statistics I've read, it takes about 3 months to really establish new behaviors.
I've used everything I could get my hands on, Zyban, the patch, the inhaler, even a spray that shoots nicotine up your nose and burns worse than a crystal meth bump off a gay bar toilet.
There is no white-knuckling it for me, folks. And if anyoen out there is thinking of quitting I woudl suggest the same course of action. Get as much "nicotine replacement therapy" as you can. Its the behaviors that are hardest to kick.
While I am starting to feel like a non-smoker in most situations (driving, drinking), it's still difficult to believe that I am never going to smoke another cigarette again.
They say in 90 days you start to feel more confident about it. I don't want to sabotage or anything but why is it that I don't completely feel like I am out of the woods?
anyway.
hooray for me.
who even knew i had it in me to say no to anything?
