All day long my skin tingled under the sunlight. Must have been some sort of allergic reaction to the unseasonably warm weather.
The 21 year old and I hit the streets to hunt down some vinyl. He scored with a still-sealed copy of Jesus and Mary Chain’s “Psycho Candy”. I picked up some old Nena Hagen records.
Things between us have evolved into a really cool friendship. There are plenty of laughs and lots of lying around together holding hands, but no head-trips or allusions to any sort of boyfriend label. It’s a refreshing resolution to all the conflict and uneasiness I’ve had about him in my head. I have been trying to just RELAX and I think it’s working.
This probably explains my recent hiatus from Diaryland. It seems the smoother things are going in my life, the less I feel the need to put my thoughts here. Which is probably sort of a rip-off to anyone who reads this, now that I think about it.

I am not at a total loss for my daily dose of drama though, as I have been sucked backed into Days of Our Lives again. One of the female characters has gone “undercover” as a man. Instead of just slapping on some ridiculous moustache and wig, as the soaps are prone to do, they went and hired a male actor to play her when she gets in “disguise”. The hilarity that ensues when they have him lip-syncing to her voice is pure comic gold, and I can not tear myself away from the television. Fucking genius, that show.
Also, a new season of “Top Model” has started and I couldn’t be any happier than I am right now. They haven’t given the finalists their makeovers yet (or “flea-baths” as a friend once called it) and I will refrain from making any predictions until then but so far my top picks are Sarah, Brita and Tatiana for the winner. Of course my absolute favorite is the semi-retarded looking girl Lluvy, but let’s face it, she won’t stand a chance once Janice gets a look at that face.
